2016 -ongoing, photographic archive of over 2000 single glovesAll the Lonely People
All The Lonely People is an ongoing archive of photographs capturing lost and discarded gloves I’ve found over the past eight years. Each glove holds the space of a loss: a missing hand, an absent person, a quiet displacement. These forgotten objects, once extensions of the body, now linger in public spaces as traces of those who have moved on.
What began as a simple act of noticing had evolved into an inadvertent chronicle of change, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. The archive reveals a shift in materials and forms, documenting the rise of safety-wear — latex and nitrile gloves abandoned on pavements, in gutters, on railings — marking an era of heightened caution and collective anxiety.
