Template is a quiet act of noticing. It’s a meditation on order, place, and the ways we assign meaning to what is overlooked. The work documents a handful of stones gathered from in front of my home, utterly ordinary, unremarkable fragments of the ground beneath me. Carefully divided by colour and shape, they become an abacus of quiet attention, a system of sorting and considering what lies at my threshold. In this act of arrangement, Template maps presence through touch, through placement, and through the smallest details of the everyday.
